The Houston Potters Guild Shop is a retail cooperative, owned and operated by potters in the Houston area. Since is inception in 1980, the shop has provided the community with high quality handmade pottery, the range of which includes stoneware, earthenware and porcelain; functional and decorative; Raku; oxidation and reduction firing methods.  The Potters Guild Shop has a policy of no lead in any of our glazes and since most of us calculate our own glazes we know what raw materials are used in the final composition. We have also added to the gallery's selection two-dimensional art and photography and original designs in jewelry and weaving. Commissions and special orders are welcome. Please come by and browse our cozy 1928 cottage where there is always a friendly potter to answer your questions. You will love our new home and even more, our affordable prices.
