It's Good to be Back Home

Our spacious gallery has a great selection of fine art and fine craft

Bobby Sutphin, President of the Art League of Baytown presents the 2010 "Volunteer of the Year" Award to Julie Gilbert at the December Christmas Party, an annual event held at our Christmas Gallery.

Marsha Landers, Christmas Gallery co-chair, gives her holiday ornaments as thank-you gifts to those who helped in planning and working the gallery over a period of several weeks.  Susan Urban is making her choice.  Our group always has a good time, but then we've all been friends for decades.

Ducks, Egrets, Poinsettias, Spoonbills and Boots are a few of the choices in holiday ornaments.  This year will be a variety of cats and tropical fish.

We Have a New Look but We are a Work in Progress Both Upstairs and Downstairs. Come See for Yourself

The Art Center of Baytown was originally F.W. Woolworth's, built in 1924. Come by and take a look. We have a good selection of two dimensional paintings, Marsha's pottery, jewelry, gourds and this holiday season, we will have much more.
